Jackson EMC Sends Crews To Help Restore Power

Jackson EMC is sending crews to help restore power in the wake of damage caused by that winter weather. April Sorrow is Vice President of Communication with the company.

"Much of the U.S. was hit pretty hard by ice storms and pretty bad winter storms over the last week. Jackson EMC sent 20 of our linemen and mechanics out to help the restoration efforts in Virginia, and we also sent 50 of our contractors right away to Louisiana and Kentucky, who were also hit hard by the storm. Any time we can, we want to go and help other people, and they return that favor to us when we need them."

Jackson EMC is the largest EMC in Georgia and one of the largest in the nation.
