Despite the rising number of COVID-19 cases across the state, UGA will see in person attendance for their home football games. Some of those tickets are now available for UGA students.

University of Georgia students can now register for tickets to home football games for the 2020 season. Tickets will be available until Friday, for all four of UGA’s home games.

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic tickets will be limited to 20-25% of what is normally available in Sanford Stadium.

According to Athletic Director Greg McGarity, this means that just over 3,000 tickets will be available for students for each home game, rather than the usual 16,000.

It is still unclear how tickets will be allocated to students who register online before the Friday deadline.

UGA’s first home game will be on October 3rd, when they play number 11 Auburn. Following that they will play Tennessee on October 10th, Mississippi State on November 21st, and Vanderbilt on December 5th.

Tickets will also be made available to UGA students for the Georgia-Florida game in Jacksonville on November 7th.

Student tickets will cost $10 each.
