UGA Police Arrest Suspect in Robbery, Sexual Battery Case

University of Georgia police have arrested a suspect in connection with a robbery and sexual battery case. According to a release from UGA Police, officers arrested Tritavious Harris Monday. He is accused of robbing, physically assaulting and groping a woman who appeared to be unconscious and lying on the sidewalk near Fulton Street and the North Campus Parking Deck.

The incident happened around 2:37 Saturday morning. Police say Harris fled when two other men, who were not involved, walked into the area. EMS was called to help the woman. Harris is charged with robbery, aggravated battery, kidnapping, sexual battery, battery, simple assault, and criminal trespass.

The ACCPD and Jefferson Police Department assisted in the investigation.
