Link rolls to victory in District 2 special election
Melissa Link has come out on top in a special election for the ACC Commission’s District 2 seat. The turnout was about 11 percent. Link took 62 percent of the vote defeating Kirrena Gallagher.

Giant Pumpkin Gets Carved Up In The Big Apple
Jim Bryson and his daughter Kelsey of Canada grew the record-setting, 1,818-pound pumpkin over the summer. They brought it to the New York Botanical Garden this past weekend, where it was carved up. One of the seeds recently sold at auction for $1,500.
