British Prime Minister Tony Blair meets with Muslim leaders in Britain, as his cabinet considers new legislation for combating terrorism. The four chief suspects in the London attacks were all British Muslims. Blair is looking for new ways to keep young Britons from what he has called the "evil ideology" of Islamist extremism.

New Law to Help Sufferers of Gluten Allergy
Some people cannot live without wheat products while others have to. A component of wheat called gluten has been discovered to trigger allergies, even in small amounts. The federal government will require manufacturers to list wheat among other allergens in food packaging.

Copters, Boats Rescue Survivors in Vermilion
Boats and helicopters are being used to search for people stranded by floodwaters in southwestern Louisiana. Sunday in low-lying areas of Vermilion Parish, less than 100 miles from the Texas border, rescue workers are hoping to remove the last of those who stayed behind. Housing Group Helps Rebuild at Michigan Riot Site
This year's Habitat for Humanity-Jimmy Carter Work Project is in Benton Harbor, Mich. Racial rioting broke out there almost two years ago, and inadequate housing was blamed for a lot of the anger. During just one week volunteers plan to build 225 houses.
