Dr. Carolina Caetano on Youth Enrichment Study

From sports to clubs to homework, high school students are busier than ever. New research from the University of Georgia suggests that these so-called “enrichment activities” may have a negative impact on student mental health. Dr. Carolina Caetano is an assistant professor of economics at the University of

Georgia’s Terry College of Business and a co-author of the study. WUGA’s Alexia Ridley sat down to discuss her study’s findings earlier this week.

Alexia Ridley joined WUGA as Television and Radio News Anchor and Reporter in 2013. When WUGA TV concluded operations, she became the primary Reporter for WUGA Radio. Alexia came to Athens from Macon where she served as the News Director and show host for WGXA TV. She's a career journalist and Savannah native hailing from the University of Michigan. However, Alexia considers herself an honorary UGA DAWG!
