These interactive, self-guided tours for a wide variety of ages are offered in English and Spanish at the museum’s front desk in the lobby for free check-out and come in a cute, colorful backpack. The backpack tours allow visitors the immersive experience of a guided tour while going at their own pace. They guide visitors through the museum’s permanent collection with activities along the way. The tours highlight four works of art but include activities that can be done with any work. Each backpack includes an activity sheet for families to fill out and take home as a souvenir from their visit. They also include drawing materials in case visitors feel inspired to make their own creation.
