The Sixteen

One of the finest choral ensembles in the world is a British chamber choir called, simply, The Sixteen. That's music by the English Renaissance composer William Byrd. The Sixteen will sing it Tuesday, October 22nd at Hodgson Concert Hall. Conductor Harry Christophers has put together a program of sacred music called The Deer's Cry. It links Byrd and his compatriot Thomas Tallis with modern Estonian composer Arvo Part. For tickets to The Sixteen, visit PAC.UGA.EDU or call the box office at (706) 542-4400.
