Mandolinist, singer and songwriter Sam Bush is an Americana legend. For decades he has been a pioneer in the rule-breaking, genre-spanning style called progressive bluegrass, or newgrass. He comes to Hodgson Concert Hall May 16th on his Storyman tour, looking back on his wildly varied career and encouraging everyone to do as he does. Mark Mobley

Mark Mobley became director of marketing and communications for the UGA Performing Arts Center after teaching for three years in the Hugh Hodgson School of Music. He is a veteran journalist and radio producer who worked for NPR in various capacities over 20 years.
