Atlanta Symphony Orchestra: The Movie Music of John Williams

Our season comes to an end with one of the great musical beginnings. On Friday, June 13th, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and conductor William R. Langley will come to Hodgson Concert Hall with a program of movie music by John Williams. In addition to the Star Wars theme, they'll perform music from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Jurassic Park and Schindler's List. Mark Mobley

Mark Mobley became director of marketing and communications for the UGA Performing Arts Center after teaching for three years in the Hugh Hodgson School of Music. He is a veteran journalist and radio producer who worked for NPR in various capacities over 20 years.
