Voctave: It Feels like Christmas

Eleven people standing for a group portrait wearing green and black business attire.
UGA Presents
Voctave

It's that time of year again! The Performing Arts Center is decorated with Christmas trees, wreaths, garlands and tiny lights. The Holiday Music Series begins at Hodgson Concert Hall Dec. 5th with the return of the a cappella group Voctave.

The 11-member group is comprised of singers with Disney connections, so it's no surprise that their repertoire mixes classics from the holiday songbook with favorite tunes from the Disney catalog, such as

"Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" from Mary Poppins.
“There is something about Christmas music and a cappella carol singers that brings the idea of white snowy landscapes with little houses blazing out the warm light into the cold outside.”—Musical Theatre Review
