Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center

Wu Han plays piano.

Since 1969, the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center has brought together classical stars and emerging artists for concerts in New York and on the road.

They return to Athens on April 29th with Quintet Revelations, a program featuring rarely heard pieces for string quartet and piano, including music by Anton Arensky and Camille Saint-Saens. The piano quintet is a powerhouse chamber ensemble, combining the sonic richness of a string quartet with the symphonic aura of a grand piano. Bracing violin duos by virtuosi of the Baroque and Classical eras serve as effervescent preludes.

For tickets to the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center at Ramsey Concert Hall April 29th, visit PAC.UGA.EDU, or call the box office at (706) 542-4400.
