Georgia Health Report: Georgia community loses EPA grant

This week on the Georgia Health Report, the loss of grant money from the Environmental Protection Agency has stalled public health progress in Thomasville, Georgia. WUGA's Havivah Saltz sits down with Briah Lumpkins, a reporter with KFF Health News in Atlanta.

Havivah Saltz has been with WUGA since 2023 as an on-air host and the producer for African Perspectives. She got her start in radio on WOBC FM at Oberlin College (class of ‘23), and she’s also an on-air host on Athens' Power 100.1 and Magic 102.1.
