Area residents seeking legal advice are invited to attend the sixth Access to Justice Pop-Up Clinic this weekend. The event will take place at Pinewoods Library Saturday from 9 am until 11 am.

The mission of the clinics is to provide access to legal services and information for individuals in the community in need of legal assistance. The clinics are provided due a partnership with the Western Circuit Superior Court Judges, UGA Law School and the Western Circuit Bar Association.

Attorneys provide brief individual consultations on topics including family law such as divorce and child support, adoption law, probate law, employment law, criminal law, and landlord-tenant law at the pop-up clinics. Volunteer attorneys from the Latin American Association will also assist at the May pop-up clinic with immigration-related questions. The remaining event is scheduled for June 16.
