Deal to Launch "Look Again" Public Awareness Campaign

Governor Nathan Deal, First Lady Sandra Deal and Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL) Commissioner Amy M. Jacobs will present the “Look Again” public awareness campaign on dangers of leaving children unattended in vehicles on Tuesday, May 29, at 10:30 a.m. The news conference is aimed at reminding parents, caregivers and the public about the dangers.

Since 2010, 17 children in Georgia have died due to vehicular heatstroke, including four in 2017 alone. Organizers say greater public awareness can help save the lives of the state’s most vulnerable citizens.

The press conference will be held in the North Wing of the Georgia State Capitol.
