End School to Prison Pipeline Movie/Discussion

Athens residents and others are invited to attend a community discussion hosted by the Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement Saturday afternoon. It’s part of the organization’s End School to Prison Pipeline initiative which is aimed at preventing and reducing the disproportionate number of incarcerated minority youth and decreasing the number of high school dropouts.

The event, which features a screening of the movie “For Ahkeem” before the discussion, runs from 1 to 4 pm. It takes place at the East Athens Community Center. It is free and open to the public.
