Reward Offered in Home Invasion/Armed Robbery

A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspect involved in an armed robbery and home invasion.

According to a media release from the Athens-Clarke County Police Department, officers responded to scene at 690 Fourth Street around 1:30 Wednesday afternoon.

When they arrived, they met with a victim who said an armed slim black male in a red shirt and black bandana forced his way inside the victim’s apartment and demanded cash.

The suspect fled on foot. He is described as a 19-25-year-old slim black male, clean shaven with a medium complexion.

He is about 6’ 1” and 170 pounds. The suspect has his hair cut in a low fade, with the top straight upwards about 1 to 2 inches, ending with loose curls.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
