79 student athletes from the University of Georgia, representing a wide variety of sports, have been named to the 2018-19 First-Year Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll.
First year student-athletes in all sports are eligible to be named to the Honor Roll upon completion of their first full academic year in residence , if he or she participates in a Southeastern Conference championship sport, has a grade point average of 3.00 or higher, and has completed a minimum 24 semester hours.
Among UGA sports, the equestrian team had the most honor roll members with 15, followed by women’s swimming and diving with nine honorees, and women’s track and field with eight.
