The Athens-Clarke County Police Department is seeking help form the public in an effort to find a burglary suspect. According to a media release from the department, officers arrived at the scene of a fast food restaurant located at 999 Hawthorne Avenue around 4:45 Tuesday morning.
An employee arriving for work noticed a broken window at the back of the business. Security camera footage shows a male suspect broke the window, entered the business and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect had a slim build, wore black clothing and wrapped his head in a shirt to conceal his identity.
