ESPN reporter and UGA alumna Maria Taylor will deliver the University of Georgia undergraduate Commencement address this spring. Taylor graduated in 2009 with a degree in Broadcast News from Grady College. She completed a Master of Business Administration in May 2013.
She is the co-founder of Winning Edge Leadership Academy, a nonprofit dedicated to improving networking opportunities and providing training and professional development to people of color and women pursuing careers in the sports industry. The ceremony is May 8th at 7 pm in Sanford Stadium. Tickets are not required. The university’s Clear Bag Policy will be in effect.
