Georgia COVID-19 Deaths Increase

The latest numbers from the Georgia Department of Public Health show 9,156 cases of COVID-19 in Georgia, with 1,774 people hospitalized and 348 deaths. Fulton County has 1,185 cases and 39 deaths. Dougherty County has the highest number of deaths in the state with 56 and 973 confirmed cases. 

Locally, Clarke County has 78 cases and nine deaths. Barrow County has 42 cases and three deaths. Oconee County 33 cases, with one death, Jackson County 23, Madison nine cases, one death, and Oglethorpe County has two cases with one death. The figures are updated twice daily at dph.georgia.gov.
