The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department is seeking an artist or artists to create a design for a “Pop-Up Park” mini bus. Artists from Athens or the surrounding area will design a “bus wrap” that symbolizes the mission and goal of the new Athens Pop-Up Park program.
Athens Pop-Up Park is a new initiative by Leisure Services which will take programming and activities in to the community.
A mini bus will visit neighborhoods, ACCGov special events, and various festivals happening in Athens throughout the year.
The bus will carry passengers, passenger transport, offer public input initiatives, and provide Leisure Services Department tours.
All proposals must be submitted to Athens-Clarke County’s online system of calls for entry by June 5.
