The Clarke-County School District Board of Education will have a work session this evening.
The Board of Education will meet at 6 pm today. During the meeting, board members will discuss several policies, including the use of school facilities, school visitors, student health services, student immunizations, and medication. There will also be a presentation on the academic calendar for the 2021-2022 school year.
Board of Education President LaKeisha Gantt will make an appearance on Athens News Matters this week to discuss plans to restore the option for in-person instruction in mid-February.
The work session will be live-streamed and can be viewed on the Clarke-County School District's YouTube channel starting at 6 PM.
