The University of Georgia reported its COVID-19 numbers and has once again set a new record for the lowest numbers since the University began surveillance testing in August.
33 new positive covid-19 tests were reported for the week of March 8-14, down from 47 the previous week. Of the positive tests, 26 were among students and 7 were among staff. No cases were reported among the faculty. The positivity rate remained below one percent.
For Athens-Clarke Country, a total of 90 news cases were reported in the last seven days, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health’s website.
