ACCPD Identify Driver Wanted in Crash that Killed UGA Student

The ACCPD has identified the driver they believe was involved in the fatal hit and run crash which left a UGA student dead. According to a department release, 29-year old Donterris Gresham was identified as the driver of the Honda Accord involved in the crash. He is facing active warrants for 1st degree Homicide by Vehicle, Hit and Run Involving Serious Injury or Death, Failure to Obey Traffic Control Device, Too fast for Conditions and Driving without a license. 20-year-old Ariana Zarse was struck as she crossed West Broad Street near Foundry Street around 12:12 AM Saturday, October 9th. She was taken to an area hospital by EMS, where she later died from her injuries. She was walking with a friend who was not hit by the car.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Donterris Gresham is asked to contact law enforcement by dialing 9-1-1.
