UGA, Tom Crean reported to part ways soon

The University of Georgia and men’s basketball coach Tom Crean will reportedly part ways very soon.

The AJC reports Crean’s time heading the beleaguered UGA men’s basketball program will come to an end after the SEC Tournament. The University has not made an official statement about Crean’s future, however.

The Bulldogs have a season record of 6-25 and have won just one conference game. The team hasn’t won a game since January and hasn’t won a road game all season. Crean’s overall record for his time with Georgia is 47-74.

The Bulldogs play in the first round of the SEC Tournament Wednesday against Vanderbilt—a team which has beaten Georgia twice this season and is heavily favored to win again.
