UGA players and fans celebrate after winning the national championship earlier this year.

The University of Georgia’s annual intrasquad football scrimmage, G-Day, kicks off at 1 pm Saturday, April 16th in Sanford Stadium. UGA’s football team is just three months removed from clinching the national championship and is gearing up for the 2022-2023 season. UGA fans will be able to see how returning Bulldogs have progressed over spring training as well as get a first glimpse at new faces who could make an impact next season.

Sanford Stadium gates will open at 10 am, and the Georgia Football alumni flag football game will begin at 10:15 am. G-Day ticket holders will also have the chance to take pictures with UGA's CFP National Championship Trophy, as well as the Atlanta Braves' World Series Trophy between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at Reed Plaza.

In the Kirby Smart era, G-Day has averaged over 73,000 fans in attendance, excluding last year when COVID-19 precautions held stadium capacity to 25 percent. Event parking is available across campus on a first-come-first-served basis. A G-Day campus parking map is available for viewing on www.georgiadogs.com.
