UGA Head Coach Kirby Smart, shown celebrating the Bulldogs' national title win in January, is on track for a second consecutive run at the national championship, but he says his focus - and the team's - is on Saturday's SEC Championship game against LSU.

The Georgia Bulldogs easily held onto the top spot in the College Football Playoff rankings this week, setting them up for a potential playoff game against the University of Southern California and perhaps a repeat of last year's national championship win.

But the road to that national championship goes through Atlanta, and before the Bulldogs can think about another national title, they have to focus on this weekend's conference championship game versus LSU.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, Head Coach Kirby Smart didn't want to focus on the national playoff implications of the LSU game.

"To me, the focus has to be on LSU and the preparation for LSU," Smart said. "You're talking about hypotheticals of what a committee is going to think and where they're going to put people."

Kickoff for Saturday's game is at 4:00 PM from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
