The Cottage, Sexual Assault Center and Children's Advocacy Center

An Athens nonprofit The Cottage, Sexual Assault Center and Children's Advocacy Center is holding the first of what will become an annual fundraising event this month. The Cottage Sexual Assault Center and Children’s Advocacy Center is hosting Athens's Got Talent. Linnea Ionno is Executive Director at the facility. She says all proceeds from the event will go to support the Cottage’s mission of providing free services for adult survivors of sexual assault and children who have experienced abuse.

The talent show is on Saturday, May 20th from 6 to 8:30 pm at Southern Brewing Company. For more information or tickets, visit www.northgeorgiacottage.org.

Ionno says volunteers are still needed for the show.
