Whether it is murals at libraries and parks or sculptures throughout town, public art in Athens is expanding
The Athens Cultural Affairs Commission is seeking members of the community to serve on upcoming panels to select what new artwork will be displayed in the community.
Members of these panels review, evaluate and select from proposals submitted for Athens-Clarke County-funded public art commissions.
Panels usually meet one time to select art for a specific project. Meetings typically take place on a weekday at 6:00 p.m. and last about two hours.
A short form is available on accgov.com for those interested in serving on a panel.
