U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene was removed from the House Freedom Caucus following a vote by the group in late June, according to a report from The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Though the caucus didn’t state a specific reason for her removal, the Georgia Congresswoman has been critical of fellow caucus members, most recently criticizing colleagues who opposed House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s compromise on the debt ceiling.

Greene said she serves her constituents in northwest Georgia and told The AJC that her focus is showing the country what a “strong, unified Republican-led Congress will do when President Trump wins the White House in 2024.”
