The initiative known as Georgia Match will send letters to share with students their potential post-secondary pathways based on their 11th grade HOPE GPA, their SAT or ACT score, and their high school GPA.
The program will streamline the application process by sharing the institutions holding a spot for them in the Fall 2024 semester. All Georgia Match participating institutions will waive application fees for students granted a reserved spot during November 2023.
Over 120,000 high school seniors in the state will receive a letter from the governor detailing their academic eligibility at technical institutions, colleges, and universities and the next steps to take beginning as soon as next week.
