Athens-Clarke County Police are investigating a murder-suicide in Athens that occurred on Friday night and claimed the lives of three individuals. ACCPD responded to an aggravated assault call on December 1 at approximately 10:55 pm in the 100 block of Massey Lane, according to a press release.

Twenty-six-year-old Juliana Navarnete-Moreno and 20-year-old Hugo Martinez-Cerritos arrived together at the Massey Lane residence when 31-year-old Mangell Maivena approached their vehicle.
