UGA's Performing Arts Center announces 2024-2025 season

UGA Performing Arts Center

University of Georgia’s Performing Arts Center has announced their schedule of events for the 2024-2025 season, with performances from Grammy award winning jazz singer Samara Joy, the returning Vienna Choir Boys, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and more artists from a variety of creative disciplines appearing at the UGA Performing Arts Center (PAC), Fine Arts Theatre, and the Morton Theatre from September to June.

In the upcoming UGA Presents season, the PAC's largest to date, many programs celebrate Women who Shine. These include artists such as Pulitzer Prize-winning multi-instrumentalist and composer and Silkroad Ensemble Artistic Director Rhiannon Giddens, multiplatinum Mexican mariachi diva Aída Cuevas, Broadway star Jessica Vosk, and Grammy winning singer-songwriter Kathy Mattea.

University students can access masterclasses with visiting performers and will have performance opportunities of their own, with the UGA Wind Ensemble appearing alongside contemporary music group Eighth Blackbird, and a collaboration set for jazz students from the Hugh Hodgson School of Music jazz students and pianist Jason Moran in a celebration of Duke Ellington's music.
The full 2024-2025 event calendar can be found at PAC’s website, www.pac.uga.edu.
