Students returned to Apalachee High School on Monday, for an open house. It’s the first time students were back on campus since the September 4th shooting that left four dead and nine others wounded. A 14-year-old student was arrested and charged in connection with the shooting.
The school has planned a “phased-return,” with students attending school for shortened days until mid-October. Students will return full-time after Fall Break on October 14th. The hall where the shooting took place will remain closed for the rest of the school year. Classes will resume Tuesday.
