Friday is the second anniversary of the Apalachee High School shooting, which left four dead and several others wounded.

On Thursday, Barrow County Superior Court Judge Nicholas Primm sentenced Colin Gray on charges including second-degree murder.

Convicted Apalachee High School shooter Colt Gray will spend the rest of his life behind bars. Day three of the sentencing phase of the trial saw Barrow County Superior Court Judge Nicholas Primm handing down the sentence.

Testimony in the sentencing phase continues in superior court for Colt Gray. On Friday, Gray pleaded guilty to 55 charges related to the September 2024 shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder.

Colt Gray, the 16-year-old Apalachee High School shooting suspect pleaded guilty on Friday to all 55 counts he is charged with in connection with that shooting.

Gray was found guilty back in March on all 27 counts he faced including multiple counts of murder, cruelty to children, involuntary manslaughter and reckless conduct.
