The search for Chair of CCSD’s Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education District Advisory Council has come to an end.
The Clarke County School District has announced they have selected Dr. Ilka McConnell to serve as the inaugural Chair of Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education District Advisory Council.
The CTAE District Advisory Council’s role is to ensure that students in Clarke County are able to have access to quality career and technical education opportunities that align with local and regional workforce needs.
McConnell currently serves as the Director of Economic Development for Invest Athens, Athens-Clarke County Government's Economic Development Department. McConnell’s leadership is expected to strengthen collaboration between education, business, and community stakeholders to create career pathways for students.
