The Clarke County School District is hosting an event that will allow students to compete and interact in science related activities.
CCSD’s annual Youth Scientist Fair will be held on April 19 at Oglethorpe Avenue Elementary for students in grades K-5. The competitions will start at 8:30 a.m., the public viewing of science projects begins at 10:30 a.m., and the award ceremony will start at 11:30 a.m.
Students will have the opportunity to compete against each other in the Science Olympiad Competitions. They’ll also be able to present their works in areas such as Life Science, Physical Science, Engineering, and more
In order to compete, all Science Fair, Art Exhibition, and Clarke Invents Projects must be dropped off at Oglethorpe Avenue Elementary School between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Friday, April 18, the day before the event.
