Georgia’s unemployment rate held steady at 3.6% last month, which is six-tenths of a percentage point lower than the national rate.
The number of jobs in the state rose by 6,900 in March, bringing the total to 4.98 million.
The sector with the most job gains was health care and social assistance, which added 3,100 jobs. The information sector followed, posting an increase of 2,400 jobs.
