The Clarke County School District (CCSD) Board of Education (BOE) will vote for an interim superintendent for the next school year until the board finds a permanent candidate.
As the search for a new Superintendent for CCSD continues, the Board of Education will vote at the May 8th board meeting to determine the appointment of Dr. Jennifer Scott as Interim Superintendent of CCSD. The period for Interim Superintendent of CCSD will last from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026. Dr. Scott currently serves as the Deputy Superintendent of Academics and Student Support.
The interim position is meant to replace Dr. Robbie Hooker, who will retire at the end of June. The Board will conduct a search over the next year to find a candidate for the Superintendent position on a permanent basis.
