A University of Georgia student was found deceased on Monday. The 19-year old female was found unresponsive by her roommate, who called 911 and performed CPR.

The student was declared deceased when Athens-Clarke County Police officers arrived at the Broad Street hotel where the two women were staying. They had temporarily relocated there while their sorority house was under renovation, according to a police report.

The police confirmed that an investigation into the student’s death is ongoing and that an autopsy is being performed. No foul play is suspected.

A spokesperson for the University of Georgia confirmed the student’s passing. They said that the student was not included at this year’s memorial service, which was held on Wednesday, at the request of the student’s family.

She will be remembered at next years’ service.
