A trial date has been set for the father of the accused Apalachee High School shooter. The trial for Colin Gray will begin on September 8th. He is facing 29 charges, including second degree murder, involuntary manslaughter, and cruelty to children.

Gray is accused of providing the gun used in the shooting which left four people, two students and two teachers, dead.

14-year-old Colt Gray is accused in that shooting last September. He is facing 55 charges, including murder, aggravated assault, and aggravated battery.

Both Colin and Colt Gray have requested to have their trials moved out of Barrow County. Barrow Superior Court Judge Nicholas Primm ruled earlier this month that Colin Gray will not face a jury selected from Barrow County.

Colt Gray will have a hearing on May 6th to determine if his case should be moved to a different venue.
