Two Georgia schools have been ranked among the nation’s most beautiful campuses.
Travel and Leisure ranked Berry College as second in the nation, noting that it’s the United States’ largest contiguous college campus with more than 27,000 acres of lakes, fields, forests, and mountains.
The University of Georgia ranked 27th nationally, the list noting its historic buildings like the chapel, the Founders Memorial Garden, and the Arch. Stanford University in California ranked first.
Other schools in the South included The University of the South at ninth, The University of Virginia at 14th, Duke at 16th, William and Mary at 20th, Furman at 23rd, and Vanderbilt at 24th.
