Next year, voters in Northeast Georgia’s Senate District 46 will decide their new state senator. The district covers several counties, including Clarke, Oconee, Walton, Barrow, and Gwinnett. Republican senator Bill Cowsert currently represents District 46 and is now running to be the state’s next Attorney General.
William Gaulden is the vice chair of the Democratic Party of Athens-Clarke County. He has also joined the race for Senate District 46. WUGA’s Alexia Ridley sat down with him to discuss his platform.
