The Athens-Clarke County Unified Government is looking for an artist to build a large-scale artwork.
The ACC Government is inviting artists to submit applications to build a large-scale 3D artwork for the Tallassee Road roundabout. For artists that are interested, the deadline to apply is November 7th at 5pm.
Nature or history themes are encouraged due to the area being adjacent to the Tallassee Forest, known for its unique flora and animal life. Applicants must be 18 years or older and can submit their application to the Athens-Clarke County website.
Artists will be required to include contact information, three examples of previous work, a resume, and more to be considered by the resident selection panel. The panel will meet and contact finalists in January 2026.
