Eric Gisler has announced that he will be running in the December special election to represent Georgia House District 121. The district encompasses Oconee and Clarke county.
Republican Marcus Wiedower recently announced his immediate resignation from the House seat which has resulted in the special election.
Gisler will run as a democrat and his campaign will prioritize healthcare access, quality schools, and affordable housing. His campaign was already underway for the 2026 election for the same seat.
Gisler is a University of Georgia alum and small business owner.
