- The University of Georgia - The University of Georgia will be closed January 26th. All in-person classes, campus events and activities will be canceled throughout the day. Students who went home should not return until notified of campus status. More information is available here.
- UGA Gwinett campus - will be Monday, January 26th.
- Athens Academy - The Athens Academy campus will close on Saturday at 4pm and will remain closed through Sunday night, January 25th. As a result, all activities scheduled during those times are cancelled or postponed. They will share another update Sunday afternoon regarding Monday, January 26th.

- Athens Technical College - is closely monitoring the upcoming weather system. Sign up for RAVE alerts to get the latest changes and updates.
- Barrow County Schools - is closely monitoring the winter weather forecast and working with local emergency management teams to determine if any changes to their school schedule is necessary. They will send an update to all families no later than Sunday evening, January 25th.
- Clarke County School District - is monitoring the weather and is in close contact with their local emergency management agency. They will provide an update no later than 5pm Sunday, January 25th. This update may come sooner. To get the latest updates, make sure your information is up to date in the Parent Portal. - Oconee County Schools - will be closed on Monday, January 26th. For the latest updates, verify and update your contact information in Infinite Campus.
- Oglethorpe County Schools - is monitoring the weather and is in close contact with their local emergency management agency. They will provide an update on Sunday, January 25th. For the most recent updates, make sure your contact information is up to date through your PowerSchool portal or contact the school directly to update your information.
- Jackson County Schools - Due to the forecasted winter storm, all schools and offices will be closed on Monday, January 26th. All extracurricular activities scheduled for Monday night have been cancelled.
- Madison County Schools - due to the forecasted weather and hazardous conditions that are unsafe for travel, all school and offices will be closed on Monday, January 26th. All school-related activities and programs are cancelled.
- Double Helix STEAM School - there is a 99% likelihood that school will be cancelled on Monday. A final determination as conditions are confirmed. Parents will be notified by text.
- Bethlehem Christian Academy - unknown.
- Prince Avenue Christian School - unknown.
- Athens Christian School - is monitoring the weather forecast. Families will be notified by sunday afternoon.
- Piedmont University - On-campus learning is suspended Friday, January 23rd and Monday, January 26th for the Demorest and Athens campuses. Online classes will also be suspended. Faculty will assign take-home work for students to complete both days. Campus operations for faculty and staff at the Demorest and Athens campuses will be suspended Monday, January 26th. Campus Police, Residential Life and Facilities will be on campus and available to serve students. Cafeteria operations are expected to operate on a modified schedule.
- The University of North Georgia - all UNG campuses will be closed from Saturday, January 24th - Monday, January 26th. All in-person classes, events, and activities are cancelled and offices are closed. more information is available at ung.edu/emergency.php.
