Barrow County deputies have arrested several suspects in connection with the Monday, April 13th murder of 40-year-old Casey Lotrail Watts, of White Plains.
Deputies responded a report of a robbery and assault at 1419 Red Oak Way. When they arrived, they discovered the victim unconscious. Deputies performed CPR and Watts was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
During the investigation, law enforcement determined that the original incident happened at 1651 White Oak Drive in Winder. Six individuals were arrested at the scene. 34-year-old Shurita Lashay Davis, 19-year-old Ezion Tymere Edwards, 20-year-old, Robert John Arnold, 20-year-old Michavius Luis Mayweather, 17-year-old Antrevion Gary-Hill, and 21-year-old Jamarion Floyd Lewis, all of Winder were arrested at the scene.
According to a release from the Sheriff’s Office, all the suspects are currently being held in the Barrow County Detention Center. Each of them is being charged with murder, aggravated assault, and party to a crime.
