Georgia ranks in the top 15 when it comes to the best states for working from home.
According to the personal finance website WalletHub, 12% of full-time employees work from home, and 27% have a hybrid schedule.
A recent study shows Georgia is one of the best states for working remotely. Analyst and writer Chip Lupo says multiple factors were considered in compiling the list.
“We compiled them in two main dimensions, work environment and living environment,” according to Lupo. “Work environment refers to your work culture. Living environment includes things such as your average retail price of electricity, your access to low price internet plans, internet costs. You median square footage per household, share of detached housing units.”
Lupo says Georgia needs improvement in cyber security measures.
