Clarke County School District (CCSD) is partnering with several restaurants in Athens to raise money to continue it's Gifted Savings program. This program helps graduating seniors in CCSD by providing $1,000 investment portfolios and financial education.

Some restaurants have recognized Thursday, April 30th as Dining for Dividends Day. Restaurants like The Globe, Preacher Green’s, Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe, and more will donate a portion of their sales made on April 30th to benefit Gifted Savings in CCSD.

CCSD became the first school district in the nation to implement this program across the district. If people are unable to participate or visit these restaurants but still want to support Gifted Savings, they can donate to the CCSD Gifted Saving fund online through the Athens Area Community Foundation.
